Hold hands to Giving Back to Our Communities
Let us make a better place for our community
The Crowe MacKay is a company that believes small gestures lead to big changes by holding hands together. Our company prioritizes the people, community and society, so we create initiatives to positively impact society through donations and volunteering. In past years, our company has invested over $170,000 in community giving, supported 180+ organizations, and volunteered more than 950 hours to strengthen community lives. All the Crowe MacKay offices across northern and western Canada have helped local families find stable housing, provided children with education support by delivering essential school supplies, and helped the BC healthcare system.
Our Yellowknife office has contributed significantly to the “Welcome Home” fundraising campaign to provide affordable family housing to the community in YWCA Northwest Territories. Our Yellowknife office has proudly donated $15,000 to the campaign to provide a safe place for someone’s family.
To improve the health and well-being of the community, we are committed to supporting organizations that help people when they need it most. Under the Giving Back to Our Communities program, our Calgary office collaborated with EventStart and distributed the Christmas Hamper drive to needy people.
Our West Coast Offices support the Lookout Housing and Health Society by providing 100 care packages for the Winter Clothing Drive. In Kelowna, we contributed $50,000 to the BC Cancer Foundation to assist in funding a new therapy suite that brings cancer care closer to home for patients in the BC Interior.
As a firm, we were focused on supporting food banks and educational initiatives throughout northern and western Canada. Our Whitehorse team has provided food hampers, and the Food Bank Society in the Yukom provides emergency food hampers to over 1900 people monthly.
Lack of educational resources should not be a barrier to community literacy’s success. Our Edmonton branch has supported the United Way Alberta Capital Region by donating to the Tools for a School program and the Coasts for Kids and Families campaign. The president and CEO of the United Way Alberta Capital Region mentioned, “Thanks to Edmonton’s involvement in the Tools for the School program, United Way can provide essential supplies to children, helping to remove barriers to learning and ensuring their success in school.”
As a socially responsible firm, giving back is more than a responsibility. However, we cannot do it all alone. We invite you to hold hands with us to make a change. It will make a difference in our local community and help build a better future for the world.
